Following a jaw-dropping presentation on International Salon and Spa Expo’s (ISSE) Center Stage, award-winning hair stylist and style maven Fateemah is set to give an intimate presentation of her creative process today.
Dubbed the “Diana Ross” of the professional hair world by ISSE, Faatemah will delve deeper into her “Retro Evolution” series, showcasing classic silhouettes and styles with a modern twist. Sherri Curtis, owner and Director of Makeup Artistry for Taylor Andrews Academy will also join Faatemah on stage to discuss 2013 make-up trends and techniques.
“It was so exciting to have my friend and fellow Shear Genius contestant Janine Jarmin join me for a cool runway collaboration yesterday! The models were fabulous – they absolutely killed the stage! Today, I want to give an insider’s look into the process for creating that runway hair and how to translate those updos for bridal, editorial and special occasions.”
Produced by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), ISSE Long Beach is known as the kick-off industry event of the year. The three-day professionals-only beauty event is one of several key events hosted throughout the year by PBA to help advance the beauty industry.
