Celebrity stylist Faatemah has new work featured in the Beauty Launchpad‘s July 2013 issue as part of Intercoiffure Artistic Council’s (ICA) premiere “The American Style Collection” shoot.
As a founding member of ICA, Faatemah joined a select group of artists for the shoot in New York to capture iconic fashion memes in American culture.
Under the supervision of ICA Fashion Director, Vivienne Mackinder, the themes explored included Wild West, Hollywood, Palm Beach, Rock and Roll and New York City. Faatemah’s look (pictured above) was featured in the Wild West segment.
“My hair creation is reminiscent of curls massaged by the wind. I imagined a woman exploring the wild country side on horseback, wind tousled and determined.”
