Indie/soul rock group (i am) isis has been invited to perform in the 2014 Pledge Anti-Bully Festival, this Friday, July 11 at Castle Fun Center. The three-day event is billed as Hudson Valley’s biggest anti-bullying festival and will feature live music performances, motivational speakers and resources, along with a variety of games and activities such as go karts, lazer tag and scavenger hunts.
Led by frontwoman isis, (i am) isis joins a lineup of teen celebs, bands, DJs and speakers who have been tapped to support the kick-off day’s “Redefining Beauty” theme and help promote the celebration of inner beauty and provide positive messages to teen girls. Friday and Saturday themes are “YouChoose” and “Era 2 Era”, respectively.
“We are honored to help increase awareness of such a pressing issue in our communities,” said isis. “With events like the Pledge Anti-Bully Festival, we can have a weekend of fun and games while creating a safe environment to share key messages that will hopefully have a lasting impact on everyone who attends.”
The Pledge Anti-Bully Festival, sponsored by State Farm and Hudson Valley’s 96.1 KISS FM, takes place July 11-13, 2014 from 12pm to 9pm each day at the Castle Fun Center, located at 109 Brookside in Chester, NY. (i am) isis is scheduled to perform Friday, July 11 at 7:00pm.
