Indie rock/soul group (i am) isis has been invited to perform in Gettysburg Rocks, Saturday, August 9 at the Appalachian Brewing Company – Gateway in Pennsylvania. The three-day music festival and benefit will feature live performances from more than 150 bands across 17 venues throughout Gettysburg. All donations collected will benefit Four Diamonds Fund whose mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families.
Led by front-woman isis, (i am) isis has an affinity for rock-infused guitars and thrashing delivery. Their sound is an eclectic fusion of rock and spoken soul, with a bluesy funk for the new millennium. The band just released a new single, “Take It Back”, featuring uptempo and empowering vocals, available now on all major digital distribution outlets. “We are honored to help support and raise awareness for such an important cause,” said isis. “It’s great to be able to rock a stage with a room full of good people. It’s even better when you know that our night of fun can help bring healing.”
Gettysburg Rocks takes place August 8-10, 2014 in various venues in Gettysburg, PA.
