After a dramatic role as Sojourner Truth in Christian Arts Ministries’ stageplay “Favored Nations,” Twin Cities’ radio personality Georgia Ellyse (aka Miss Georgia) is continuing to expand her acting repertoire.
The rising star was recently cast as Colliding Pictures’ leading lady for its upcoming short film Drinks. The film tells the story of a young, troubled woman who turns to alcohol and men for comfort.
“You can definitely expect to see me out of my element in this project,” said Ellyse, who hosts the top-rated Midday Show on KMOJ/89.9FM. “I feel really good about it. It was a tremendous opportunity to work with Colliding Pictures.”
