PRSA Seminar Highlights Media and Technology, Ways to Improve your PR “Intuition”

that’s my puff :)

I recently had the opportunity to attend a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) professional development seminar hosted by the Tar Heel Chapter in North Carolina. The PRSA chapter hosts monthly events to connect people who show interest in public relations to make a strong bond with tips, information, and news.

This month’s theme was “Media, Technology and Storytelling” and featured Jennifer Curtis, Director of Communications at World Pediatric Project, as keynote.  The day’s events included panel discussions and presentations from such industry reps as Kim Williams, BEM INteractive; Robert T. Youngblood, Platinum Consulting and Marketing Group; and filmmaker Mike Foley.

I learned ways of gaining better PR intuition, that cannot be fully learned in school, including three key ways to better my own personal pr skills. Click through for these key points, along with other quick tips for improving your PR intuition.
