Music Megastars To Appear on Twin Cities Radio Show To Talk About Army of TWO Song Collaboration and Roles In the Game
Music megastars Big Boi and B.o.B are scheduled to appear on KMOJ’s Midday Show with Georgia Ellyse, Tuesday, March 12. The two will be on the show to promote their recent partnership with Electronic Arts for the upcoming release of “Army of TWO™ The Devil’s Cartel.” They will also talk about the Army of TWO’s downloadable demo that will be available on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace and PlayStation®Network starting the same day.
The emcees were tapped to create Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel’s theme song, “Double or Nothing,” and are also featured in the game itself as T.W.O. operatives. Big Boi will play the role of Charles “Chuy” Rendall, while B.o.B will take on the character Anthony “Baker” Barnes.
Grammy Award-winning Big Boi has made an indelible impact in the hip hop industry since his debut with André 3000 to form mega group OutKast in 1994. The group’s final 2003 project, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, proved to be one of the biggest-selling hip-hop albums in history and generated three Grammy Awards. As a solo artist, Big Boi released Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors in December 2012 to critical acclaim. He recently announced the April kick-off of his U.S. tour, “Shoes for Running,” with opening act Killer Mike.
B.o.B is an American hip hop recording artist, singer-songwriter and record producer. After his debut single “Nothin’ on You” reached number one in both the United States and the United Kingdom, B.o.B rose to fame and was named the ninth Hottest MC in the Game in 2010 by MTV. In 2010, his debut album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray reached #1 on the U.S. charts and the album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Georgia Ellyse’s Midday Show airs weekdays on Twin Cities-based KMOJ/89.9FM, 10 am – 2pm CST, and reaches approximately 140,000 listeners weekly.
